Each summer, the Outer Banks of North Carolina comes alive with one of the most anticipated events in the sportfishing community—the Alice Kelly Ladies Only Billfish Tournament. This year, The Wild Blue Films had the honor of capturing all the action, excitement, and camaraderie of this legendary tournament.
A Tournament with Heart
The Alice Kelly Ladies Only Billfish Tournament isn’t just about sport—it’s about spirit. What began more than three decades ago as a small gathering has grown into one of the largest ladies-only billfish tournaments on the East Coast. Beyond the thrill of the chase, the tournament is deeply rooted in community and giving back. It raises significant funds for local cancer charities, making every cast and every catch even more meaningful.
Our Role on the Water
The Wild Blue Films team was on the docks and offshore to provide complete media coverage of the event. Our production package included:
